Joel Moscoso, better known as “Extranjero” was born in 1985 in Guayaquil, Ecuador. From an early age he demonstrated a particular affinity for music, which inspired him to creatively explore his innate ability to compose songs and melodies. At the age of 15, he immigrated to the United States with his family. Extranjero has been completely immersed in the cultural artistic and musical eclecticism that characterizes New York and its surroundings. It is there, where the variety of flavors, cultural wealth, and rhythms have influenced his compositions and his personality. His lyrics are a reflection of experiences with which many of us can identify.
